What I Wore 3: Boating in Retiro

Summer has returned!! I am absolutely delighted that I can get the legs out again and pop the shorts on before they packed away for the winter. Last weekend my parents were visiting me in Madrid which was amazing. My weekend was filled with sightseeing, eating amazing food and drinking copious amounts of Tinto de Verano (wine of summer)!! Detox starts now.

We went to Retiro to take some pictures for this blog post and we couldn’t resist hiring a boat and going for a paddle on the lake. Fortunately my Dad loves a bit of exercise so we spent the hour being rowed around the lake basking in the sunshine. Bliss. I decided to wear a casual outfit with some comfortable shoes as I knew we would be walking for miles seeing all the sights. The jacket was a slightly bad idea as it was so so hot. My arms felt like they were wrapped in clingfilm with the sun out.

  1. When you can kick Nikes, running shorts, a blazer, and a to-die-for hobo bag – you’ve got style, mamacita! Let’s swap lives, please! 😉

    Continued Success….
